We all thoroughly enjoyed P7 Leavers' Assembly; what a talented bunch. It was fantastic to see such support from family and friends. We wish our wonderful P7s all the best for the future as they make the next step in their school journey. You can be anything you wish to be.
Well Done to our P7s who received their Cycling Proficiency certificates today.
Well done to the Primary 6 and 7 pupils who completed Bikeability training and attained level 1 and 2. These pupils completed 3 days of intensive training both in the playground and out on the road. A big thanks to Tom O'Dowd from Sustrans for all his help and involvement this year.
More musical success
Congratulations to Joshua, Sasha and Luke who all passed their drum exams with merit.
On the Buses and trains
P2 went to Glengall Street to explore life at Translink. They even got to go through the bus wash (inside the bus, of course).

We all enjoyed hearing about P2's trip to the zoo. They showed us some brilliant paintings and sang to us in Spanish.

Our P7 golfers ended a busy but very successful week in Carryduff PS by placing 2nd in the Golf Tournament held at Castlereagh Hills Golf Club. This is the first time we have ever placed in this competition - long may it continue.

A City Break
The P7 class travelled to Edinburgh for a four day sight seeing trip. They squeezed in the Castle, Dynamic Earth, Camera Obscura, Butterfly World, Glasgow Science Museum, bowling, swimming, golf and of course the Ghost Tour. Phew.
Adrenaline Packed Trip
P6 enjoyed a fabulous four days at Ardnabannon Outdoor Education Centre. The weather was gorgeous and the craic was mighty. They canoed, zip-lined, abseiled, rock climbed, bouldered, got muddy and wet. All in a day's work for this adventurous lot.
Our girls have done it again. A huge well done to the netball girls who came out winners of the Belfast Schools Netball Tournament, despite some tricky opposition. Fingers crossed they can come up trumps in the Moneyreagh tournament next month too.
A particular congratulations to Lucy who received recognition as the 'Most Promising Player' Well Done Lucy.
Thanks again to Mrs Humphries for all her hard work with the girls.
